Match Preview

Tigers welcome Bracknell Youth to Carlisle Park. The Club was promoted with Tigers at Christmas although, coincidentally, the League C match was twice postponed due to the weather, so the teams have yet to meet this season. At Under 10, the match against Bracknell Bullets (a pre-cursor to Youth) was also called off and Tigers managed to win the re-arranged fixture 3-2 with goals from Sam, Eli and Hayden.

FC Bracknell was originally founded in 1977 by a group of football enthusiastic dads to provide football for their children and their friend’s children, with the club celebrating 40 years at the start of next season. The club has now grown to be one of the largest and most successful in its area, providing football for 250 boys and girls from Soccer School for under 5/6's up to and including the under 18's, culminating in 2006 by being awarded the status of FA Charter Standard Club by the Football Association. The Club motto is Let The Football Do The Talking. Like Tigers, Youth boast a squad of 12 boys, the majority of whom are called "Alfie"!

Tigers come into the game on the back of a good draw last weekend. Once again, the squad is stripped to a minimum playing strength of 9, with the TPS contingent missing and Eli being unwell. Hopefully, Rufus will return the MOTM trophy before kick-off. The League season is now racing to a close (last game is supposedly 1st April if Tigers have enough players available) so Hearts are looking to finish with a winning run.
