At last, at the third time of asking, Tigers will be playing Woodley Saints Wolves this Saturday. Tigers mark the last League fixture of the season with the long, and very early trip, to Sonning. n overnight at a local hotel may have been sensible! The original meeting was postponed during the winter's icy spell; the re-arranged date was no good as LBRUT schools were already deep into Easter holidays and availability was non-existent. Thus, some four weeks after the excellent win at Whitegrove, Tigers can finally wrap up the season.

The two teams have met on one previous occasion, way back in December 2015 when they were drawn in the same Plate group. Wolves walked away from Carlisle Park with a 3-1 victory, despite a virtuoso performance from Henry. Tigers have played Woodley Saints' other U11s, having beaten the Panthers 3-0 in the same competition; strangely, the League fixtures were also postponed but that season they were never fulfilled. Wolves boast a squad of twelve, and have been regulars in Section C.

Tigers will travel with a maximum of 10 players. Eli has succumbed to his ongoing health issues and Rufus is Go-Kart racing. We wish them both well. Toby will achieve a 100% appearance record, all being well, this being his 22nd appearance of the season, whilst Henry needs to score at least four to catch Gabriel for the Golden Boot. Hayden will have won the most MOTM awards regardless of this weekend's outcome as he has already had it 4 times, one more than Rufus.

Let's hope for a glorious end to the League season. See you on Saturday!
