Tigers make the long trip to Sonning and AFC Charvil this Saturday. The second round of the Trophy pitches Tigers against familiar rivals who have found themselves playing in a Section below Tigers. Charvil had a terrific tussle in the first round, eventually winning 7-6 against Wargrave Wolves Reds. Their League season has been mixed with two wins from three, although they recorded a good 4-1 victory at Binfield Warriors last weekend and they are currently occupying a similar league position to Tigers.

Previous seasons have seen Tigers and Charvil meet just once, in September 2016, with Tigers claiming a home win, thanks to goals from Frazer, Rufus, Sam, Gabriel, Henry and Hayden with the latter putting in a man-of-the-match performance.

This Saturday, Tigers welcome Ilyas for his long-awaited debut. Sam, Henry and Hayden are unavailable, but it will remain something of a luxury to have two players to rotate throughout the hour.

Let's hope the boys can justify their superior League status and take the first step towards Cup glory!
