Originally postponed because of the visitors' Cup commitments, it is hoped that the weather is kind enough to allow the last fixture of the year to take place.
Marlow are sitting just above Tigers in the League, having beaten Wildcats and Ascot. They lost to Pumas 6-0. United have played one game more than Tigers, so this is one of those fabled "six-pointers". The sides have met once previously, in October 2016, with Marlow securing a home victory, 4-2. Hayden and Henry scored for Tigers who were without Alex and Gabriel on that half-term Saturday.
Marlow run a single side at Under 12, although they have a large catchment area in that part of Buckinghamshire.
Tigers will be playing with just one substitute this Saturday. Hayden has returned to South Africa, possibly until February, Henry is, as usual unavailable and we may now have seen the last of him in a Teddlothian jersey, Frazer is unavailable for the first time this season and Eli, having managed to avoid injury and illness for several weeks, is celebrating his birthday with a sleepover.
The Tigers' Christmas lunch follows the game, so let's hope the parents can revel in an all to rare success. The boys will have a riot regardless!
Merry Christmas!
