Great first win for the Cheetahs

The Cheetahs shrugged off the disappointment of last weeks very tight loss to claim their first win after an excellent team performance.

They started really well and ended the first quarter 2-0 up with goals from Alex and Sam, who were accompanied by Ethan and Arlo and goalie Oscar.

Louie and Harry came on for the second quarter and both contributed to another good quarter with another goal from Sam making the scoreline 3-0 with an excellent solo goal.

The third quarter was entertaining but a tighter affair with no further goals; Louie coming close on several occasions and unlucky not to convert any of them. Sam lit up the last quarter by completing his hat-trick to make it 4-0 before the Polarbears staged a late rally, pulling a goal back after going the whole game without a single sub !

It was a great team performance with all players contributing equally. Well done manager Dan not only for organising the team but also doing the complicated maths to give all players fair time on the pitch. Way to go !

Special mention to Freddie and Jacob who kindly agreed to pass on this weeks game as we had too many willing and available players. We look forward to seeing you next time.
